2007 Celebrate Northeast Parade

Along Central Avenue from 28th to 14th
Come join the celebration on Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis. Enjoy the floats, bands, food, and fun at the second oldest parade in the state. This 78-year old parade will continue this longstanding tradition which shows highlights everything that makes Northeast Minneapolis great.
On Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. the parade will start off at 28th and Central, the Canadian Pacific Railway site, and continue south down Central to 14th.

TCF Parade Tailgate Party
Get a jump on the parade festivities with the TCF Parade Tailgate Party in the parking lot of Eastside Food Co-op, 2551 Central Avenue NE. The party starts at 4:00 p.m. and continues until the parade starts.
- The festivities will feature specialty food and drink from Northeast restaurants.
- There will be music and performances throughout this event – something for everyone!
- And what better way to kick off a parade than with a children’s carnival? There’ll be games for small children.
- Aveda Institute will do “Parade Hair” and seated chair massages.
- The event promises to be the biggest and best ever and will be the place to be in anticipation of the parade that starts at 6:30 p.m. on Central Avenue.”
