For 78 years, the Northeast Parade has delighted folks from the Twin Cities and beyond with anything from extravagant floats to high school marching bands. The parade is coming to town on Tuesday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. starting at 28th and Central Avenue NE and traveling south to 14th Avenue. Rain or shine.
The parade is the largest single day attended event in Northeast each year with up to 10,000 people expected. The theme for the 2007 edition of the parade is “Friendly, Funky, Fabulous in 2007”.The event is free. A 67-member parade planning committee is guiding every detail of the parade.
