About Us
The Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce (formerly the North East Business Association) has been serving the Northeast community since 1953. The Chamber is a non-profit, pro-business organization working to make our community a better place to live, work and do business. The Chamber seeks to improve member businesses and organizations, stimulate the business environment and encourage economic development. The Chamber, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, provides the communication link while acting as a resource for business and allows groups to form and create change in Northeast Minneapolis.
The Chamber is not affiliated with any branch of local, state or federal government. We draw our strength from attracting the greatest number of individuals, businesses and organizations into our membership. The Chamber organization directs the energy, talent and money contributed by its members and other funding sources into projects that improve the business climate in the community.
